We believe in going

Where the fish are

What's the plan PO?

According to Luke 5:10-11, we are fishers of men who do not believe in simply waiting for students to come to church. We go where the fish are.

Our big net, Teen Impact is both a gathering and a movement. High schools, middle schools, and alternative schools come together once a quarter for a mass worship and word experience to recharge students to establish/reignite Jesus clubs at their respective institutions. This meetup provides community, discipleship opportunities, and accountability outside the four walls of the church building. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is moving into academic institutions, introducing the most unlikely students to their redeemer and friend.

at Leavenworth High School

This is the first school plant birthed from Faith Walkers Outreach. What sets this group apart from any other established faith group, is the fact that the students in Crazy4Christ are those who frequent ISS, OSS, and who may not have the best reputations across the board. The authentic power of Jesus’ love goes after the ones who wander from doing what’s right and following the rules (Matthew 18:12).

This team of teenagers has grown into a family of Christ followers who look forward to learning and living out Jesus’s ways every week. Based at Leavenworth Senior High School, this group of disciples is defying odds, gathering weekly to proclaim their love for Jesus Christ through fun, fellowship, prayer, and the study of the word of God.

Main street prayer

40 Students each day

Morning prayer happens daily on Main Street - the central hallway at Leavenworth Senior High School. Chancia Harris - an English teacher at Leavenworth High - began gathering students together for early morning prayer, pursuing the vision of Teen Impact established by Pastor Orlando Rivera. Each morning, a diverse group of students (and even some staff members) gather boldly and pray for their peers, community, and families. The number of attendees has grown from 8 to 40 in just a couple months. From morning prayer students are inspired to strengthen their walk with Christ at after-school bible study.

bible study

40 students each monday

Students engage in a weekly study of God’s word. Discussion, check-ins, scripture reading, and application are discipleship tools used for learning the teachings of Jesus and holding attendees accountable to maintaining integrity in their walk with Christ. Bible study provides a positive bully-free environment where students can make friends and have fun. In these sessions, those in attendance are encouraged to reflect on the word of God and see it’s fruit in their lives as they live it out.
Revival is happening in our schools, and lives are changing forever!
