Matthew 28:19-20 commissions followers of Christ to go into all the world and make disciples of Jesus Christ. These Bible Study sessions are intentional gatherings for growing in our knowledge of the ways of Christ. Midweek Soul Winners Sessions also ignite our body of believers to disciple others in the ways of Christ, who will carry out the same commission until our savior’s return.
On the first and last Sundays of the month, Mama A facilitates the children’s ministry of Faith Walkers Outreach. By teaching Sunday sermons on their level, this ministry aims to help the greatest in the kingdom (according to Matthew 18:4) grow in their knowledge of Jesus and His love.
Based in 1 Timothy 4:12, Teen Impact is a movement of young followers of Christ who are bold about their redemption stories and are being discipled to make disciples. Gathering around music, games, and food, this group provides a safe space for teenagers to enjoy the company of their friends and classmates.
Teen impactThis co-ed Bible study group is a setting in which students build relationships with one another, discuss life issues (as they relate to the message of the night), and are encouraged to revisit the teachings of Jesus outside of the session. Questions, real-life experiences, and testimonials are encouraged during this session in order to apply the content to daily life, according to James 1:22.
Hope at the gatheringSingles Hub is Faith Walkers Outreach's gathering for single men and women. This small group fosters friendship and emphasizes security in Christ through monthly hangouts and study of the Word of God. The vision of Singles Hub is to develop disciples of Jesus Christ who understand the importance of accepting God's affection for us as the ultimate source of love.
The women's ministry of Faith Walkers Outreach - which focuses on women and their unique way of viewing the Gospel, marriage, character, self-worth, and purpose - serves as a safe place for ladies to discuss topics that may not be relevant or appropriate in a co-ed setting. Centered around 2 Corinthians 5:17, Her Faith emphasizes the woman’s new life in Christ, dispelling any former means of self-definition.
This is the men's group of Faith Walkers Outreach. It focuses on men and their unique way of viewing the Gospel, marriage, character, self-worth, and purpose.This group serves as a safe place for men to discuss topics that may not be relevant or appropriate in a co-ed setting. Centered around Proverbs 27:17, Men’s Fireside emphasizes the man’s new life in Christ and how others are involved in encouraging him to maintain that life. This dispels any former means of self-definition.
Faith Walkers' Sunday mission is incomplete until they have served Jesus by feeding the homeless community right here in Leavenworth. The conclusion of family dinner involves packing up hot meals and taking them directly to those in need. We always end with prayer and an invitation to church.
